Q: I need more time to achieve my LFA — can I have an extension?
Yes! We understand that you may need more time to complete your education. Learners who enrolled in the LFA Foundational Curriculum after August 23, 2023 can request an extension directly within the learner dashboard (details below). The extension will add 30 days to your curriculum completion deadline, and your due date and course access will be automatically updated.
A learner can request the extension as many times as they want. There is currently no charge for an extension. This policy is subject to change.
- Log into your Living Future Education account.
- Navigate to the LFA Foundational Curriculum.
On the right side in the orange panel across the top, select an extension.
- Proceed through the checkout process. Extensions are a no-charge benefit at this time.
- Upon completion, the extension will automatically be processed and your curriculum due date and course access will be automatically updated.

*Did you enroll in LFA before August 23, 2023? The self-service extension request feature is not available in your account. Therefore, you will not lose access to your courses as a result of your due date passing, and you may proceed with completing them when you are ready. There is no need to communicate your extension request to ILFI.
