20-0609 v3.X Third Party Verified Declare Product Multiplier

The following Clarification was written for LBC 4.0 Imperative 12 Responsible Materials, and is being retroactively applied to LBC 3.0 and LBC 3.1 Imperative 12 Responsible Industry.

With respect to the requirement that all projects use at least one product - at minimum - for every 500 square meters of gross building area, each Third Party Verified Declare label may count as 1.5 labels towards this requirement. For example, if a 1500 square meter building has two Third Party Verified Declare labels, this requirement is met (1500 / 500 = 3 = 2 x 1.5).
