Purchase How-Tos

How do I complete the checkout process?


  • Go to ILFI's learning management system.
  • Select the course you are interested in and add it to your shopping cart.
  • Go to your shopping cart. You'll see a screen that looks something like the screen clip below:

  • Click "Proceed to Checkout" to advance to the next step. You should now be on the Account Information screen of the checkout procedure, as shown below:

Important! Do not enter your Living Future Member account credentials here. Your Membership account is not an Education account. Regardless of your membership status, if you have not previously purchased a course from the ILFI learning management system, you will need to click "Sign Up" and create an Education account.

    • If this is your first purchase from the ILFI learning management system, you do not have an Education account. Click "Sign Up." Be sure to enter information for all required fields.
    • If you have previously purchased a course from the ILFI learning management system, you should have an Education account already. Enter your username and password, then click "Log In."
  • Once you have either Signed Up or Logged In, click "Proceed to Checkout." You'll now be asked to enter your Shipping Information. Even if you're purchasing an online course, please enter a phone number and an address in order to proceed.

  • Once you click "Proceed to Checkout," you'll be directed to the Payment screen, as shown below. Select "Credit Card" and agree to the terms and conditions in order to proceed.

  • You should now be on the final screen of the checkout process. Enter your payment information and click "Submit Your Order" in order to complete the checkout process.

Where can I find my Member discount code?


  • Log into your Member Dashboard
  • Click on "Partner Discounts" in the CONNECTIONS section.
  • Copy the code given under "Online Education."

How do I apply my Member discount or other coupon code to a purchase?

Important! Only one coupon code may be used per transaction, and discounts may not be combined.

  • Go to ILFI's learning management system.
  • Select the course you are interested in and add it to your shopping cart.
  • Go to your shopping cart.
  • Paste your member discount code or other coupon code into the Coupon Code window (see screen clip below).
  • Click "Apply" and check to see that your total has been appropriately reduced.
  • Proceed through the rest of the checkout process.

How do I purchase a course on behalf of someone else?


  • Go to ILFI's learning management system.
  • Select the course you are interested in and add it to your shopping cart.
  • Go to your shopping cart.
  • Check the box that says "Purchase on behalf of others" (see screen clip below).
  • Edit the "Quantity" field to indicate how many learners you'd like to enroll.
  • Log into the first learner's existing account or choose "Sign Up" and create one for them.
  • Once you've completed the checkout process, a receipt will be emailed to the designated learner(s) with account and course access instructions.


How do I obtain a receipt for my purchase?


A receipt should be automatically sent to the email address associated with your Education account whenever you purchase a new course or curriculum from the Living Future Education online course catalog. The email will be from noreply.education@living-future.org with the subject line: Living Future Education Course Receipt. 

You can also navigate to your Education Profile page and select the 'Purchase History' tab. The high-level details of each transaction are displayed, and from there you can download a copy of any receipt by clicking the 'View Invoice' button.

How can I receive a discount on education?


Discounts on education are available through Professional Living Future Membership, Corporate Packages, and the ILFI International Pricing Policy. Other discount requests will not be granted. Only one coupon code may be used per transaction, and discounts may not be combined.


Can I receive a refund for my course or certificate purchase?


All purchases made through our online shop are final. We do not offer refunds for any products. If you believe you require an exception to this policy (perhaps you experienced a technical error during the checkout process, etc.) please email education@living-future.org.


I purchased education and failed to apply my Member discount — may I receive a refund?


It is the responsibility of the Professional Living Future Member to ensure that the Member discount code is entered correctly and/or applied before completing the purchase. Instructions on applying a Member discount code can be found in the Education Support Center. Please email education@living-future.org should you encounter an issue when attempting to use your membership discount.

The price changed on education I've previously purchased — may I receive a refund?


Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All purchases made through our online shop are final. We do not offer refunds for any products, including pricing adjustments.
