Quick Guide | Fast Track

What is the Fast Track?

The Fast Track allows LFA enrollees to fulfill all 16 General Credits by uploading an eligible green building credential to their Education Dashboard. Learn how to get started here.

Bottom Line: If you qualify for the Fast Track, you'll only need to complete the Foundational Curriculum in order to earn your LFA.

Is my credential eligible for the Fast Track?

Your credential is eligible for the Fast Track if both the following statements are true:

(a) Your credential is/will be active at the time that you complete the Foundational Curriculum

(b) Your credential belongs to one of the following programs:

  • BREEAM
  • EcoDistricts
  • Green Star (Int'l GBC)
  • LEED — including LEED AP and LEED GA
  • Phius — including Phius Certified Builder, Phius Certified Rater, and Phius Certified Verifier
  • SITES
  • WELL

Reach Out: Curious about the eligibility of a green building credential not included in the list above? Email us at LFA@living-future.org for an eligibility check. A credential must require at least 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years in order to qualify for the Fast Track.

Please note that the following credentials do not meet the continuing education requirements and are therefore not eligible for the Fast Track:

  • Legacy LEED AP (also known as LEED AP without Specialty)
  • Fitwel Ambassador
  • ENV SP
  • RESET AP

I qualify for the Fast Track — how do I get started?

To pursue LFA via the Fast Track, your first step is to enroll in the LFA Foundational Curriculum.

Once enrolled in the Foundational Curriculum, you may upload your eligible green building credential to the Fast Track module at any time. The Fast Track module can be found at the very bottom of the Foundational Curriculum — look for the course titled "Enroll and report other credential towards LFA General credit requirement":
