Can I join a Regional Member Community near me even if it's not my region/city?

ILFI recommends reaching out to the Community Leaders of that nearby RMC and requesting to join the group. Community Leaders can be contacted via email (find this information on the left-hand side of the RMC page). The group may meet around hyper-local issues that might not be relevant to you, or they may focus on broader topics. It’s worth finding out from the leaders before you join.
