Discounts

Q: Are there discounts available for courses?

A: Discounted pricing for international learners is available through ILFI's International Pricing Policy. Find out if you're eligible and apply.

Individual Living Future Members and organizations with Corporate Membership Packages Living Future Members may receive a discount on courses.

Other discount requests will not be granted.


Q: Can I combine discounts?

A: Only one coupon code may be used per transaction, and discounts may not be combined.


Prorated Pricing

Q: Is prorated pricing available for courses?

A: Prorated pricing on certificates, curriculums, and course bundles will not be granted for prior purchase/enrollment in courses that are included in the certificate, curriculum, or course bundle unless the learner 1) makes a request prior to enrolling in the certificate, curriculum, or course bundles and 2) has yet to complete the individual course. The discounted amount may be based on the individual course fee or other prorated amounts. Please email education@living-future.org to inquire about specifics.

Prorated pricing is not available for other circumstances such as prior experience with the subject matter or demonstrated proficiency.


Price Changes

Q: May I request a pricing adjustment for prior Living Future Education course purchases?

A: ILFI reserves the right to change the pricing for Living Future Education courses in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion. Pricing adjustments will not be granted for prior course purchases.


Course Access

Q: For how long will I have access to a course after I have enrolled?

A: You will have access to courses you are enrolled in for at least three years following the date of your enrollment. You will also be able to retrieve a copy of your certificate of completion for as long as you have access to the course.

ILFI reserves the right to close the enrollment of and/or otherwise restrict access to courses at any time without prior notice, though we will make every aim to inform learners in advance if and when we decide to close enrollment.


Member Discounts on Prior Course Purchases

Q: May I receive a Living Future Member discount on a prior Living Future Education course purchase?

A: It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure that the Member discount code is entered correctly and/or applied before completing the purchase. Visit the FAQ page for instructions on applying a Member discount. Please email education@living-future.org should you encounter an issue when attempting to use your Membership discount.


Course Refunds

Q: Can I receive a refund for Living Future Education course purchases?

A: No cancellations or refunds are offered for Living Future Education online course purchases. However, we acknowledge that certain exceptional situations may arise which warrant special consideration. We are committed to evaluating such circumstances on an individual basis. To initiate a review, please email education@living-future.org.

Any refund offered will be equivalent to the course price at the time of purchase. The refund will be issued as a voucher towards future course purchases i.e. a coupon code for use in the course catalog.


Refunds on Prior Course Purchases for Corporate Membership Packages

Q: Can individual course purchases be refunded and included in my group's Corporate Membership Package invoice instead?

A: A refund may be issued to an organization for an individual learner’s prior course purchase in order to include their enrollment in a group package invoice if the request is made within 30 days of issuing the group invoice and the individual purchase was made within this calendar year.


Course Enrollment Transfers

Q: Are Living Future Education course enrollments transferable?

A: Groups who purchased a Corporate Membership Package are only eligible to transfer an enrolled learner for another if the enrolled learner has not yet begun any coursework and the transfer is requested at least 30 days prior to the package expiry date. To initiate a transfer, please email education@living-future.org. Individual course/curriculum enrollments purchased outside a group package are non-transferrable.


Q: Is my ILFI TAG (Technical Advisory Group) Volunteer education benefit transferrable?

A: Yes. TAG members who already have their LFA may request to transfer their discount to a colleague or friend by emailing education@living-future.org


"Buy on Behalf" Option

Q: How do I purchase a course on behalf of someone else?

A: In the shopping cart, select the 'Purchase on Behalf of Others' checkbox. Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit Living Future Education and add the desired course(s) to the shopping cart.
  2. View the shopping cart and select the 'Purchase on Behalf of Others' checkbox. You may now edit the 'Quantity' field to indicate how many learners you'd like to enroll.
  3. Log into the first learner's existing account, or choose 'Sign Up' and create one for them.
  4. Following completion of the transaction, a receipt will be emailed to the designated learner(s) with account and course access instructions.

Group Enrollment & Group Viewing

Q: Can a group take a course together? 

A: Our self-guided courses are tailored for individual participation at this time. Group participation, such as jointly "viewing" a course, may not be feasible due to the interactive nature of the courses, which include short videos, readings, activities, assignments, and assessments. To obtain a certificate of completion and CEUs, individual enrollment and documented completion of all course requirements in the learning management system are mandatory.
