How can I turn off direct messages (DMs) in the Community?

Members have control over whether or not they are able to send and receive direct messages in the Living Future Community.

By going to the very bottom of your Profile Account Settings, you will see three (3) toggles for Permissions, as shown in the screenshot below. Toggle "on" the 'Prevent members from messaging me' option and click 'Save Changes' to turn off direct messages in the Community.

Please note that this will not apply to Living Future Community administrators, including the Living Future Membership team.

To turn off your email notifications for direct messages without turning off the messages themselves, visit your Notification Settings.
