LPC in LEED

The Living Product Challenge has been approved as a compliance pathway for the LEED v4 and v4.1 Building Product Disclosure and Optimization Credit, Options 1 and 2. 

LEED v4.1

All certified Living Product Challenge products are Third Party Verified for content inventory. 

Option 1: LBC Red List Free and Declared products fulfill the disclosure credit requirements.

Red List Approved products that have disclosed at least 99.9% of ingredients fulfill the disclosure credit requirements.

Undisclosed proprietary ingredients that exceed 0.1% of the disclosure are not eligible for LEED v4 credits. Calculate the total proprietary content by summing the amounts in parentheses. 

Option 2: All LPC products are valued at 100% by cost.

If the Transparent Material Health logo appears on the LPC label with either 95% or 100% Assessed indicators, products are valued at 150% by cost.
