The following Clarification was written for LBC 4.0 Imperative 12 Responsible Materials, and is herein retroactively applied to Imperative 12 Responsible Industry within LBC 3.0 and LBC 3.1 .

With respect to the requirement that all projects use at least one product - at minimum - for every 500 square meters of gross building area, each Third Party Verified Declare label may count as 1.5 labels towards this requirement. For example, if a 1500 square meter building has two Third Party Verified Declare labels, this requirement is met (1500 / 500 = 3 = 2 x 1.5).
