17-0503 v3.1/Temporary Construction Materials 3.x
ANSWER
Temporary materials used during construction, that do not end up in the waste stream, do not need to be tracked, nor included in project documentation. Temporary materials that do end up in the waste stream and/or are purchased solely for the project must be tracked and meet the requirements of all pursued Imperatives.
All wood formwork used during construction must be either salvaged (i.e., already used at least once) or FSC Certified.
Examples:
Dumpster chutes do not need to be tracked. Heaters used during construction do not need to be tracked and can be combustion-based. Silt fencing, if not re-used, must be tracked and meet the requirements of all pursued Imperatives.
